Huntington Beach Real Estate … First-Time Home Buyers

by erikaalvarez on April 9, 2009

As a first-time home buyer, you may be asking yourself, “Should I wait until prices go lower to buy a home?” The short answer is:  No, don’t wait.  If you continue to wait, you may never be able to afford to get into the housing market.  Although home prices are currenlty leveling out in Huntington Beach and other areas, rents continue to climb.  The best way to build equity is to own a home.  The sooner you become a homeowner the sooner you will begin building equity.  In a few years once the market has leveled out and home values rise, you will be able to sell your home and buy a bigger home, or obtain a home equity line to make improvements to your current home.   If you have further questions about the advantages of buying in this market, give me a call or e-mail me at erika@ochomeseekers.com

Have a great day!
